Dr. Jacobson is a Pennsylvania native. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with highest honors and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Jacobson attended medical school at the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he also graduated with honors and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. After completing his medical internship at Lehigh Valley Hospital, he completed his three-year dermatology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where he also served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Jacobson has authored several scientific papers and at a national level has served on several committees of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Jacobson takes an active interest in all areas of surgical and procedural dermatology in addition to general dermatology. He is now seeing patients in the Allentown, Bethlehem and Pottsville offices.
