Ms. Mason graduated from Emmaus High School in 1981. She earned her Bachelor Science of Nursing degree from East Stroudsburg University in 1985. While working as a nurse at Easton Hospital, Ms. Mason attended the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1990 with Master Science of Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Ms. Mason has worked in the field of dermatology as a Nurses Practitioner since 1991 initially at Advanced Dermatology Associates with Dr. Purcell then with Dr. Brady and Dr. Levin. She subsequently practiced with dermatologists an Ann Arbor, MI and Media, Pa. Her family relocated back to the Lehigh Valley and she re-joined Advanced Dermatology Associates in June 2006.

Ms. Mason is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania Professional Nurse & Certified Nurse Practitioner and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Dermatology Nurses' Association. Ms. Mason cares for general dermatology patients in the Allentown office.
