What is Skin Tightening?
Skin Tightening is a treatment that utilizes infrared light through a pulsed-light source. This spectrum of light targets proteins within the dermis. The heat generated will help to stimulate new collagen formation and (in most cases) re-align the current collagen structure. The result is a subtle tightening and 'lift' of the skin.
What areas can be treated?
Face, neck, arms and abdomen can be treated to subtly tighten loose skin.
What are the side effects?
During the procedure your skin will feel a tingling sensation and warmth. Mild redness is expected and usually lasts for a few hours after treatment.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed depends on the severity of skin laxity (skin looseness). Usually 5 treatments are recommended.
What results can I expect?
Results depend on the severity of skin laxity. Most can expect a subtle tightening of the skin.
